Where are your products made?

Vaportek manufactures and assembles its products in Sussex, Wisconsin.

Can people, pets, and plants remain in the area where your products are working?

It is safe to remain in the area when Vaportek products are in use. Vaportek’s products originated in the medical field and are still used in hospitals all over the globe.

Will the offensive smell return?

Vaportek diffuses essential oils into the air to create a neutralizing dry vapor that permeates affected surfaces to remove embedded odors quickly and safely. Malodors won’t reappear if the odor source is eliminated before using our solutions.

I have severe asthma/allergies. Can I use your product?

Typically, Vaportek products do not produce adverse reactions. However, Vaportek’s air treatment products may trigger allergic reactions in people with severe allergies to trees, plants, or flowers. Immediately discontinue use should an allergic reaction occur.

Do you have retail locations where I can purchase products?

What do you mean by “neutralizing odors?”

Traditional odor control masks odors with a heavy perfume or desensitizes the olfactory senses of the persons subject to the smell. Our products work by combining, or pairing, an essential aromatic oils compound with malodors. The result is a considerable decrease in odor or the elimination of odor altogether.

Do your products have a smell?

Yes. Vaportek solutions use pure essential oils with aromatic qualities, such as pine, eucalyptus, orange, and more. Every product has a unique scent. But when used as directed, the scent should not be overpowering. To speed up the dissipation time after application, open the windows and turn on some floor fans.

How does Vaportek stand behind its products?

We want you to be satisfied with our products. Our electrical equipment comes with an unmatched, 5-year limited warranty to assure trouble-free operation. Please see specific product information for full details.

How long should I use a Restorator or Restorator DUO?

Auto detailers usually use these units for 1-3 hours to eliminate embedded odors. It will be necessary to match the length of treatment to the level of contamination.

How are your systems different from ozone, hydroxyl, foggers, or ionizers?

Ozone is a regulated toxic gas often touted as a solution to all types of indoor pollutants and interior contamination after disasters. The EPA website (www.epa.gov/iaq/pubs/ozonegen.html) has more information about ozone generators. Ozone will oxidize anything it touches. People are advised not to be around running ozone generators for health reasons. Instead of oxidation, our system neutralizes odors with a dry vapor of essential oils, targeting both airborne and surface odors.
